Located in Cass County, the Village of Remer was incorporated in 1911. It covers a total area of 1.1 sq. miles, with Minnesota state highways 6 and 200 forming the two main routes through the community.
The Remer area has a rich history of logging and farming, with the SOO Line Railway bringing further economic vitality in the early 1900s. While the area’s economic climate has shifted over the years, even now this small rural village boasts the second largest industrial base in Cass County … not to mention a growing tourism industry!
